SPLINTERED
TEAM RAIDEN
Honda CRF 450R
Originally built to own the Flat Track scene in Oregon.
The DiBrino Racing / Icon Raiden ‘Splintered’ CRF 450R recently received another objective: Find the Fastest way through the Tillamook National Forest while keeping your presence undetected.
STUMPS DON’T LIE
Stumps don’t lie. In our experience they also don’t joke, cavort, or engage in any form of small talk. They are in fact unyielding, anti-social bastards. Hidden in the trailside underbrush they sit sentinel, awaiting the slightest rider mistake to enact a painful toll. Our Splintered line is a nod to our wooden advisory and ICON rider Andy DiBrino pays tribute in Oregon’s Tillamook Forrest by way of the shred on his Honda CRF450R.
Clear the path undetected
By utilizing Icon Raiden’s “Splintered” and “Deadfall” graphic treatments, the svelte Honda was able to carve a path through the huge trees, virtually unseen. However, after relentless drifts, stump jumps and piston slapping engine revving, an unmistakeable roar in the woods reached undeniable resonance. What started as a test, quickly escalated into full on evasion mode.
